Featuring Rustic Western Country Living & Sonoita History

Arizona's Wine Country
In a place that many imagine is a cactus-studded desert, Southern Arizona with its rolling hills and high-elevation valleys is now burgeoning wine country. Days are sunny and warm during growing season but night temperatures often fall 40 degrees or more, making an ideal climate for quality vinifera grapes.

Born from a centuries-old growing tradition in the area, there are currently twelve bonded wineries in Southern Arizona with several more expected to become operational in the near future. These wineries reflect the attitude and personalities of their owners, which cover the spectrum from colorful picnic-style wine to serious award-winning varietals.

Following are the nine Southern Arizona vineyards:

Callaghan Vineyards, Sonoita, AZ, (520) 455-5322
Dos Cabezas Wineworks, Sonoita, AZ, (520) 455-5285
Fort Bowie Vineyard, Bowie, AZ, (520) 847-2593
Kokopelli Winery, Willcox, AZ, (520) 384-3800
Paradise Valley Winery, Willcox, AZ, (520) 384-388
Santa Cruz Winery, Patagonia, AZ, (520) 394-2888
Sonoita Vineyards, Sonoita, AZ, (520) 455-5893
The Village of Elgin Winery, Elgin, AZ, (520) 455-9309
R.W. Webb Winery, Vail, AZ, (520) 762-5777
